I made this jewellery box in my Year 11 GCSE Resistant Materials Course. The key skills I learnt in its production were cutting dovetails and producing parquetry. Making this box sparked my interest in woodwork due to the high level of skill and attention to detail needed. The materials used were cherry for the box itself, with purple silk utilised for the interior lining.
