This carrom board was part of my Rycotewood second year project. The brief was to design and produce an object relating to the theme of play, as well as the Oxford Pitts Rivers Museum. Carrom is an Asian board game, not dissimilar from pool, which is still widely played today. The primary materials were red oak, with a maple veneer.
